Leadership Team

Seung Joon Lee

Dr. Seung Joon Lee leads the SERS chemistry effort at SpectraFluidics. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in 1998 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Seoul National University in 2000 and 2004, respectively. Dr. Lee holds significant expertise in the physico-chemical characterization of self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on metal surfaces by various surface analytical tools including Infrared and Raman spectroscopy, and the preparation, characterization, and molecular engineering of nanostructured materials including metals and semiconductor nanoparticles, and organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites. Dr. Lee is a co-inventor of the SpectraFluidics technology and a co-founder of the company. He has published 37 peer-reviewed papers.
