Brian D. Piorek
Dr. Brian D. Piorek leads the development of SpectraFluidics technology for the detection of airborne molecules. Dr. Piorek holds degrees in chemical engineering and micro/nanoscale mechanical engineering and specializes in the design of microfluidic systems and nanoscale devices for the detection of chemical agents. He has published five peer-reviewed papers in the fields of fluid dynamics and chemical detection in journals including JACS, PNAS and APL and holds expertise in microfluidics, micro/nanoscale reactor design and surface chemistry. He is a co-inventor of the SpectraFluidics technology and is a co-founder of the company.
