Casey Hare
Mr. Casey Hare brings manufacturing and product development experience to the SpectraFluidics team and serves as the system architect of the SpectraFluidics handheld explosives detector. He holds B.S. degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a M.S degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. From 2007-2009, Mr. Hare headed Casey Hare Design Consulting, where he specialized in the development of systems, instrumentation and automation. Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Mr. Hare was founder of Multiprobe Inc., a nanotechnology company delivering performance analysis tools to the semiconductor industry. Among his many accomplishments, Hare designed the Atomic Force Probe (AFP) for Multiprobe, Inc. and built the company’s engineering and manufacturing team. Mr. Hare has also served as an instructor of Mechanical Engineering at UCSB since 2004.
